UL Lafayette Leads Multi-University Research on Flood Mitigation and Response
Multi-state research project aims to help Gulf Coast communities prepare for, respond to floods
Our staff is working on testing the first set of a community-scale flood sensors, including rain gauges, flow velocity sensors, and non-contact water level sensors. The first set of sensors were deployed for testing and validation at the outlet of Coulee Mine watershed in the Lafayette Centeral Park.
