1A’s recent regional drainage forum brought public and private-sector leaders together to discuss the Teche-Vermilion Watershed, the 2016 flood, and improvements to regional drainage infrastructure. Panelists underscored the need to fund the creation of a regional hydrologic and hydraulic model to inform decisions on future drainage improvements.
